Greer, S.C. – John Harris Body Shops, headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina, chooses former Office Depot building in Greer for their first Upstate location. The former Office Depot was closed over three years ago. It will undergo extensive renovations with anticipated opening in late 2018. “We are excited to serve the community of Greer very soon,” says Zachary Taylor, CEO of John Harris Body Shops. The team of John Parker and Ryan Koop of Broadstreet Partners is assisting John Harris Body Shops on site selection throughout the Upstate. According to Parker, “Re-adapting the 21,000 square foot building is a win-win for Greer and John Harris Body Shops. Broadstreet Partners is pleased to announce the recent transaction between Sykes Workman Leasing, LLC and Think Tank Brew Lab. After an in depth search throughout the Upstate market, Ryan Kurlfink, founder, president, and brewmaster of Propagate Brewery Development Group, chose 101 Airport Road in Greenville to launch their inaugural concept of Think Tank Brew Lab.
The property, owned by Sykes Workman Leasing, includes over 21,000 SF of former industrial space with high ceilings and direct access to the expanded Swamp Rabbit Trail. Included with the property is over one acre of urban forest along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Think Tank Brew Lab will use this for its expansive biergarten with outdoor games and events. A second floor event space is also planned with views to the trail, biergarten, and brewery.
According to John Parker of Broadstreet Partners, who brokered the transaction, “What Think Tank Brew Lab is planning will be a great asset to Greenville and the Upstate beer scene.”
Ryan Kurlfink states, “After more than two decades of brewing and traveling the country designing and building craft breweries, I couldn't pass up this opportunity to settle down and build the brewery of my dreams. This property offers everything a community focused craft brewery could ask for and more. Selecting this site and bringing it back to life as headquarters for Greenville's homegrown Think Tank Brew Lab was truly a no-brainer.”

Broadstreet Partners recently facilitated the sell of several Dollar Generals in Tennessee. The subject properties sold in Henry, Newbern, Toone, Finger, Oakfield, and Henderson. These retail investment sales ranged in price from $985,000 to $1,080,000 each.
The Broadstreet Partners' team of John Parker and Ryan Koop represented the owner in the disposition of a 20,400 SF Industrial warehouse at 1075 S. Batesville Road in Greer, South Carolina. Due to its excellent location and flexible layout, the property experienced 100% occupancy by several tenants since the owner purchased the property in 1989. Notable tenants over the years included Coca-Cola and BI-LO. When BI-LO elected to consolidate their operations elsewhere in the summer of 2017, the owner chose Broadstreet to market the property for sale or for lease. Interest in the property was brisk by tenants, investors, and users alike. Broadstreet provided the owner with a detailed cost-benefit analysis of each option. Ultimately, an expanding user-buyer was chosen as a result.
